Squarepusher, Tommy Cash and Helena Hauff are performing at BANG FACE

Do you consider the word “tasteful” to be a pejorative? Does 130 BPM seem sluggish? Do you own a collection of differently colored wigs? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may want to consider attending Bangface. The four-day festival of breakcore, techno, drum & bass and the like is one of the UK’s most notorious raves, both for its music and its mischievous atmosphere.

The festival dedicated to the deranged edges of rave music – has announced a part of the artists joining its 2020 edition, taking place between 12 and 16 of March 2020 in Southporth, UK.

The first announced artists include Squarepusher, Altern-8, Luke Vibert, Helena Hauff, Lennie De Ice, Claro Intelecto, Venetian Snares and Fabio & Grooverider. Tommy Cash, Helena Hauff, Perc, Ray Keith, Sherelle, Original Sin, Jerome Hill, Bonkers’ Hixxy & Dougal, Neil Landstrumm, Posthuman and Partiboi69 are among those later added to the Southport Holiday Park festival, taking place March 12th through the 16th.

Thanks to its penchant for gabba and hardcore, Bangface can seem intimidating for the uninitiated, but behind the warp-speed tempos and extreme sounds lies a down-to-earth atmosphere that keeps devotees returning year on year.
