The Istanbul edition of Sónar, the most distinguished and awaited festival of Europe will be reunited with music lovers at Zorlu PSM this year on March 5-6-7, 2020. Sónar Istanbul will host DJs and producers of the local and international electronic music scene in its three-day music program, each who have achieved great success in their genre.
For the fourth year running, Sónar returns to Istanbul’s Zorlu Center, the largest performing arts center in Europe. This setting will allow artists like Christian Löffler, Max Cooper and Oceanvs Orientalis / Ex Nihilo to play live sets limited only by their own creativity. Tried-and-true acts like Adam Beyer and Ben Klock will no doubt deliver, but Sónar İstanbul also looks further afield. Paul Kalkbrenner and Paula temple bring a borderless feel befitting a festival on the crossroads of Europe and Asia.
Sónar is the International Festival of Advanced Music and Congress of Technology and Creativity, celebrated during three days every June in Barcelona. Created in 1994, Sónar is a pioneering cultural event with a unique format and content. Its first class reputation as a leading reference for international festivals is thanks to its attention in curation, combining a playful nature, the avant-garde, and experimentation with newest trends in dance and electronic music.
