RE—TEXTURED: a multi-sensory festival in UK

Brought to you by London promoters Krankbrother, RE—TEXTURED is a multi-venue, multi-sensory festival for London and the UK. The festival will combine experimental electronic music, brutalist and modernist architecture and innovative lighting installations for an arresting visual and sonic experience, leaning towards the experimental, dark, and serious side of techno. The aesthetic theme of brutalism, which paires the deep—often brutal—sounds of its performing artists with some of London’s greyest architecture.

The festival has sourced talent from across the globe, dotting the performers across the city for a multi-sensory extravaganza. The first lineup announcement has a host of live performances from artists like Donato Dozzy, SOPHIE, British Murder Boys, dBridge, Shackleton live, Hiro Kone and Actress. Other booked acts include JASSS, Silvia Kastel, Helena Hauff, Ben UFO, Mala and Rebekah.

The four-day event will run from April 2nd to the 5th across seven venues including Tobacco Dock, Southbank Centre and BFI. Covering the cross-section between architecture, the arts and electronic music, the festival will explore the theme “Connection” in six areas called re-connect, re-play, re-write, re-see, re-mind and re-think.
