The 16th edition of MUTEK.MX runs from November 18th through the 24th across various venues in Mexico City. Constantly rethinking and remodelling the festival as a vehicle for varied and revelatory experiences, the trajectory of this year’s programs are intended to create a distinct narrative and provide an opening on the more adventurous sides of electronic music and digital creativity.
The experimental festival’s Mexican edition has now added Caterina Barbieri, DJ LAG, John Talabot, Ouri, Maria W Horn, Sol Oosel, Daito Manabe and more to the lineup, with Apparat also down to perform live.Previously announced artists on the lineup include Aïsha Devi, Fennesz, Overmono, King Midas Sound, Kelly Moran, Tim Hecker & The Konoyo Ensemble and more.
MUTEK.MX continues to explore an ocean of sound, combining bleeding-edge beats (Batu, Aïsha Devi), encompassing soundscapes (Tim Hecker, Vessel, Fennesz) and innovative live performances (Mathew Jonson, Circle Of Live).
A renewed sense of purpose and mission drives the design of the 16th edition of MUTEK in Mexico City, running November 18 to 24. Expect new spaces, unprecedented artistry and novel sensations as MUTEK embarks on another unique journey to bring its community and the world together.
