Lighthouse Festival is an underground electronic music festival in Porec/Croatia and Cape Town/South Africa. The event will take place from 22-23 February 2020 at Johannesburg respectively Capetown.
Why South Africa? Around 6 years ago LHF visited the country as tourists from central Europe. When passing by Kommetjie, they immediately had the idea to host another festival at this magical place.
Since then they dived deep into the local electronic music scene by visiting this beautiful country year after year. As a result they fell in love with the culture, the local high talented electronic music scene and even better they found great new friends with which they teamed up to create a new outstanding experience.
LHF Europe headquarters is based in Vienna/Austria, where it was founded 10 years ago. It pretty soon became one of the most renowned nightclubs in Europe. Based on their network they launched their own festival in Croatia as they discovered an amazing venue in Porec.
Now in its seventh year, the brand has become a transcontinental underground electronic music festival with a very unique approach, featuring year by year more than 150 artists from all over the world combining music and art. The festival is yearly sold out.
