Costa Rica – new location in BPM’s catalogue

We know you have been eagerly waiting for the next iteration of The BPM Festival to reclaim the sunshine in January.
Early in 2020, BPM will hit Tamarindo in Costa Rica on the country’s Gold Coast, for its first winter edition since ending its run in Mexico’s Yucatán region in 2017. The Costa Rica festival will run from January 15th through 19th across different venues in the city, which is located close to the Liberia International Airport.

Tamarindo is one of the most beautiful and modern beach destinations in Costa Rica. It is celebrated as a surfer’s paradise and for its ecotourism. Explore the gorgeous beaches and lush jungles, chase waterfalls, hike nature trails, and snorkel through magnificent coral reefs. The picturesque surfing town offers plenty of local cuisine, shopping, and bars, perfect for sampling the true flavors of Costa Rica in between beats.

As for the line-up – you know it already – it never disappoints; it will feature more than 100 new DJs and live acts that have been newly confirmed. With five days and nights of musicl programming that will feature top label and party brand showcases from around the world, festival-goers can look forward to over 20 showcase events throughout the coastal surfing town. BPM showcases include Crew Love, Detroit Love, Kaluki, Luciano and Friends, MOOD vs. Mindshake, SCI + TEC, Serán Bendecidos, Stereo Productions, Vatos Locos, YA’AH MUUL and more.

Sasha, Art Department, Masters At Work, Skream, Soul Clap and more have been added to the festival’s inaugural Costa Rican edition. Carl Craig, Luciano, Nicole Moudaber, Kenny Larkin and more will play the festival’s inaugural edition in Tamarindo starting on January 15th.

Originally created over a decade ago as a post-New Year’s gathering for industry professionals, The BPM Festival has evolved into a three or five day destination get away for those looking to immerse themselves in good music juxtaposed with a beautiful backdrop.
